I'm Ellen, The mom behind Calm Mama

If you've been through a birth experience that felt overwhelming, unexpected, or left you feeling a little disconnected—you're not alone.

I remember lying there after giving birth… her heart racing, monitors beeping, and a rush of uncertainty filling the room.

In that moment, I wasn't a hypnotherapist or coach—I was just a mother, completely cracked open by the intensity of it all.

What got me through? The practices I had been quietly building before it all happened.

Those tools helped me find steadiness through long hospital nights, big unknowns, and the emotional weight that followed.

 

That experience became the spark for Calm Mama—a place for mothers to reconnect with themselves, soften the inner noise, and find their way back to calm.

I’ve never meditated before—will Calm Mama still work for me?
Absolutely. Calm Mama was created for all experience levels. Each session is simple, supportive, and designed to work within even the busiest of days. No prior practice needed—just a few minutes and a quiet(ish) spot to start reconnecting with yourself.

 

What is hypnosis, and what does it do?

Hypnosis is a natural state of focused relaxation—kind of like when your mind drifts in the shower or while driving. Calm Mama’s hypnosis sessions gently guide you into this state so you can create new thought patterns, rewire emotional habits, and experience deeper calm and clarity. You remain in full control the entire time.

When and how will get access to Calm Mama?

You’ll get immediate access! After checkout, you’ll create your login and receive an email with your link to the Calm Mama platform. We recommend adding it to your home screen for easy access.

 

Does this membership renew?

Yes. Monthly and annual plans renew automatically. You can cancel anytime to prevent future charges.

Can I cancel and get a refund?

We offer a free version of Calm Mama so you can explore the app before you decide to become a member. You’re welcome to cancel at any time during your membership to avoid future charges. We don’t offer refunds for time already billed.

Is Calm Mama helpful for emotional challenges during the postpartum season?
